Shakil Prasla was born on June 6th, 1986 in the butt of the Gow, India and learned to poke buffalo butts at the tender age of two. His parents, Shaukat and Aunty, forced him to put tael on his head during summers and Mehndi on his head during in the winter. As a child prodigy, Shakil surprised all the local gow kids when he delivered a buffalo baby at only five years of age. Mrs. Prasla has often recalled that Shakil seemed more comfortable on buffalos than on his feet. Shakil was always dedicated to the buffalos, spending up to six hours each day milking them.
